About Me

I am a passionate Engineer that loves increasing my knowledge
and continually improving my skills. I graduated from the University
of Arizona with a Bachelors in Science in Electrical and Computer
Engineering in 2015. I have experience supporting commercial and
government defense aerospace programs during my time in Industry.

Work Experience

Senior Systems Engineer

since 2021

Supports software development and systems engineering. Specializing in creating systems and applications that replicate hardware interfaces for comprehensive software testing in simulated environments. Wrote scripts to interface with various test equipment APIs such as REST API, VISA, GEMS MMI, and utlizing Telnet.
Written software primarily utilizing Python, C, Docker, Git, and Bash. Contributed to creation and execution of test plans to validate subsystem and system level requirements. Supported system safety and reliability engineer efforts by implementing comprehensive Reliability and System Safety Program Plan, conducting FMEA, Reliability Allocation, Sub-system Reliability Predictions, and System Hazard Analysis.

Senior Systems Engineer I

2017 - 2021

Held a critical role as the system safety lead for a counter UAS program, ensuring compliance with government regulations such as AMCOMR 385-17, JOTP-051, AOP-52, and JSSSEH. Developed comprehensive test cases covering nominal, off-nominal, and fault scenarios based on specified levels of rigor (LOR) for safety critical software and systems. Developed a Windows application to assist with Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). Conducted MIL-STD-882E System Safety Program engineering tasks and analyses, and identified or created requirements in order to mitigate system safety hazards. Generated artifacts and deliverables for independent government safety review boards to get concurrence on the identified system level risks. Developed Excel VBA macros to streamline hazardous analysis generation processes.

Hardware Engineer I

2015 - 2017

Authored reliability deliverables on commercial controllers for fixed-wing aircrafts and AC-DC generators for rotary-wing aircraft.
Performed reliability predictions, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) using standards and tools such as RIAC 217Plus, MIL-HDBK-217F, MIL-HDBK-338B, MIL-STD-1629A Notice 2, and FMD-97. Additionally, I supported System Safety Analysis (SSA) and Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA) in line with ARP 4754 and ARP 4761. I produced Weibull plots and analyses to forecast potential failures and calculate the instantaneous failure rate. Became Green Belt certified in Design for Six Sigma
